This week I had thought that ‘Angels at my Table’ was finished and sitting comfortably in that knowledge, had a few readings, and was preparing to take it a bit easy for a little while.
However, as I have often found in my funny world, my work is never finished. It threads its way through and around everything I do and everyone I meet, whether from this world or from beyond. So I feel I have to share this latest experience with you.
Today I had two lovely sisters visit me at home, Niamh and Helen from Galway. Niamh came and sat with me at my table first, and her loved ones and Angels gathered very quickly in her reading. They spoke clearly and evidentially, introducing themselves and passing on messages of love and encouragement to her and her wider family. We even had family of her husband sending regards and loving validations back from spirit.
We had both joyful and emotional moments in her reading, with a playful spirit tapping and making itself very known audibly. I was acutely aware of a spirit lady in the hallway, and although I encouraged her to come forward, she just laughed at me and said she was fine where she was. So, I am just the messenger after all, and had to respectfully accept this as her choice.
Once Niamh had finished and left the room, I cleared the energies and prepared myself for Helen’s reading, with a brief meditation of welcome to Spirit, asking for love and healing in my work as always.
As I walked into the hallway to go and fetch Helen, I had to step back as a beautiful young spirit woman cycled right past me, smiling cheekily and telling me to tell the girls that Ellen said ‘Hello’. Even now, after all of these years as a natural medium, I am still in wonder and awe at the clarity and determination of the energies about us.
Still laughing, I went into the front room to bring Helen through, and had to ask them who would the ‘Ellen’ be that just rode past laughingly on a bicycle, and that she said hello to them both? Although very surprised, they both immediately knew her and told me delightedly, that she was their Grandmother Ellen. She had been only a very young woman when she passed, and died as a result of being knocked off her bicycle!
Later, in Helen’s reading she came forward with more to say, her personality was both playful and funny, and she encouraging them to live life to the fullest and know that she was watching over them all. Ellen also sent love to her remaining family, including Michael, who is her son, and the girl’s father.
This was such a timely reminder to me, that everyday holds new wonder and magic. Our spirit family and guardians don’t respect our deadlines or expectations. They are always there with new lessons and blessings, help and love.
My objective in sharing these experiences and stories from my life, is in the hope that some of that joy and wonder passes forward, to those who may be needing some reassurance or loving concern right now. We are all connected, and we are never alone. We are heard, loved and guided daily by our passed loved ones. Knowing this as my truth, really has been the joy of my life, regardless of my physical challenges, and it never fails to lift and strengthen me. I hope that by reading some of the following examples, they will lift, encourage and strengthen you too.
With love and light, Heidi Messenger.
